He also knows the importance of purchasing an airplane that meets the customer's needs. Bret holds a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Utah. While at Douglas and then Boeing, he worked on the MD-11, C-17, and MD-95. Bret has been flying for 12 years and lives in southern California with his wife and young daughter. Kris Leirfallom Specialty: Cessna, Piper, Aeronca, Cirrus, Experimental, Military In 1997, Kris volunteered at, and joined the Museum of Mountain Flying in Missoula, MT. He graduated from Big Sky High School in 1999. In 1999, he joined the Air Force and was active duty at Barksdale AFB, LA. Kris was an Aircraft Structural Maintennace Technician on the B-52H Stratofortress in the 2nd Bomb Wing. While in the 2nd Bomb Wing he also carried out maintenance tasks on the F-117A Stealth Fighter, and RC-135 Cobra Ball. He also received a tour of the B-2 Stealth Bomber while deployed for Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom. In 2005, he was voluntarily assigned to the 119th Fighter Wing in Fargo, ND. Here Kris worked on the F-16A/B and C-21 aircraft. He lived in Grand Forks, ND and started working full time at Cirrus Design. At Cirrus, his team built fuselages for both the SR20 and SR22 aircraft. After Cirrus Design, Kris enrolled into the Commercial Aviation program at the University of North Dakota. After a few college classes he earned an Associate's Degree in Aviation Maintenance Technology from the Community College of the Air Force. In 2010 he earned a B.S. degree in Commercial Aviation. The FAA certificates that come with the Commercial Aviation degree are Instrument Commercial Multi-Engine pilot certificates as well as CFI Instrument. In 2009 Kris transferred from the North Dakota ANG to the 120th Fighter Wing, Montana ANG doing Aircraft Structural Maintenance on the F-15C/D. Kris is a member and volunteer of the Museum of Mountain Flying and the EAA Chapter 517. He is a current member of the EAA, NAFI, AOPA, and the ABAi. Steve Rossiter Specialty: Serving Personal and Business Owner Pilots Steve has been professionally involved in aviation since 1966. He is a 9,600 hour pilot holding an Airline Transport Pilot Certificate and Certified Instrument Flight Instructor Certificate in both airplanes and helicopters.
